it lasts for 3-6 hours, can be played while re-chargeing in Car or home. They say as time gose on they will impove battary life and I Think they are going to put out a better battery for you to buy if you like, lol

Oh I forgot to mention part of why I am loveing it is you can Download Music, or Movies and watch/Listen to them on the PSP
I got this "Value pack" for $250 and it came with a 32 MB mini Scan disk, also a Portective case, surface cloth, Handstrap, Headphones with remote, and the Spider-Man 2 movie I already mentiond! I find it to be a hell of a deal.

Got it at Wal-Mart, games are on UMD (Universal Media Disck) a new format! PS3 may use the same.

Depends on what you are doing, I almost bet it is alot less then 9 hours in reality most I would think active use is 5 hours

yea, you're probably right...there's also 3 kinda light settings on the screen....from dim - bright so i'm sure that must have an effect on the battery life.

I'm *considering* getting one off eBay. I know it'll be a US/Japanese version, but they're region-free, right? (When games are released here in the UK, they'll play on a US/JAP PSP?)

Am I going to have any problems with a foreign version (most come with a plug adapter)?

Shit, the games are region-free (for now, anyway) but the movies aren't. Meaning, if I get a US/Japanese version I won't be able to play the movies released in the UK. Hmm...
