I am standing up to my boss, finally.

Nice work, Pennypacker. :thumb: Good letter and smart of you to have a couple of cannons in reserve, especially the DEA will always be keen to investigate grumpy pharmacists :)

And the fiance part actually adds a bit more bite to the letter. If he works there as well and is also treated like dirt it's relevant enough to bring it up.

^I agree I though the letter was pretty professional and the way that Pakcer puts his point across is enough to not have it totally disregarded. Some people in this thread have no sense of reality of the real world, the letter will do alot of good, punching her in the face and all that shit is, although cool and funny , something that an idiot only would do. This is to reciprocate a wrong with irrationality of your own. You have to use your head, which Packer is doing. i know a few pharmacists personally and very well, the laws may be somewhat different, but the authorities drop on you like a ton of bricks for anykind of malpractise or suspicion of malpractise.

hmm, young and stupid. This would be the worst thing.

Humour is subjective! What's your point?

Indeed however I was thinking more along the lines of future promotion opportunities.

What promotions and opportunities? I work in a pharmacy! hahaha :)....There's litterally only one position I can move up to, and its not worth it. I don't think there's a pay increase for it, and it only means more headaches.

You shouldn't let anyone disrespect you, boss or not. That's just my opinion though.

I don't mind my parents disrespecting me, but this lady is out of here. Its nearly impossible for her to communicate something without making faces or just being totally disrespectful.

I don't think you should bring up her Fiancee. It doesn't have anything to do with your job and how you are treated like a sub-human at work. It's just going to piss her off. That's my opinion though.

But her fiance is part of the work-force. He's there every week, and I think it is relevant because it proves her attitude problems are not just with me, and even affect her "man."

hmm, young and stupid. This would be the worst thing.

ken, imagine going through this eight hours a day for almost a year. Put yourself in this position, and ask yourself if you could still tolerate it.

My weakness lies in her jokes and smiles at times. I think "Ah, maybe I shouldn't report her to the government for her practises" or "Well, I'll give her another opportunity."

Humour is subjective! What's your point?

I don't care if you agree with me or not, you obviously think differently and that's not a bad thing. Fall back with the insults though. You can let people disrespect you all you want, that's your business. As far as the funny thing, I already said what I meant.

^I meant that the attitude was proverbially young and stupid type of thing. I never tried to make you agree with me and the funny thing? well you must have been calling someone out personally because there were no attempts made at jokes. I think your the one who was throwing the insults.

now your the one trying to be deceptive and reading far too much into things. It's not about being disrespected its about keeping your ass outta jail. your not a little child no more, you would go to prison with the adults now! You have to think about the consequences before you do anything rash. What are your patience levels like anyway, did you get what you wanted as a child if you cried enough.

Don't you think that by keeping patience in that kind of adverse condition that you have in your heart something that is much more valuable than that womans false sense of superiority. This is not even taking in to account the fact that you can write a letter to that people who are above the lady in question. You would get disregarded totally and utterly by taking actions that are violent and or abusive. So who wins?

If your letter doesn't work, you could always complain to her supervisors. If they talk to her about it, it will strike fear in her since if her attitude continues it could potentially lead to her firing. And option 2 is to give her a few death threats. Those should also be quite effective.

Do NOT use the word fiance.
I understand that her fiance works there, but DO NOT mention that.
If you want to use the fiance as an example, do so, but do it without mentioning that he is her fiance.
Just say "I have also seen you being disrespectfull to (fiance' name)."

When you write about the fiance, you make the letter personal instead of professional in a split second, which will make you look bad in the eyes of her superiors.

Again DO NOT use the word fiancé.

Trust me on this one.

I will elaborate on what makes me feel uncomfortable around you. For the sake of ease, I’ll give an example out of the innumerable times I have been disrespected and quite frankly been put down.
Each of these sentences says the same thing. I'd keep the letter as short as possible while still making your point.

Update:

I gave the letter to her today, and I am shocked at her reaction. I was watching her read the letter, and there was no reaction to it. She finished reading, and she blew me away.

I was expecting "WTF?! How dare you say this?!" but she actually said (along these lines) "Thank you for writing this letter. It shows something about your personality, and I really appreciate it. I fear the risk of losing you, and I can see a day where you could become the head (lead technician) here." I think to myself "Whoa...what was that?" That was something.

In the letter, I told her I was sure she wouldn't change, but she promised to change. In 30 days, we're going to "review" her behavior to see if she made any improvements.

I don't recommend you guys do what I did because you never know how the boss will react. If you're going to write a letter, make sure its not like mine...write something nice that shows concern about what he/she is doing/saying.

PS: I removed the fiance part because of couple of people telling me to remove it. It may have been the right thing to do.

Good job, man! Nice move by removing the fiancee part. I assure you she wouldn't have taken it well.

I guess big things come out of small packages (letter), lol
