I was one of the 12 million people that went to go see Titanic 5 times.
Of course, I thought Brokeback Mountain was a powerful love story so our opinions are most likely different.
On a side note- Maddox is a douche in this case because he was so preoccupied with the thought of not wanting to see a "chick flick" that he failed to catch the part about Rose and Cal being unmarried.
If Tatanic is nothing then so is Schindler's List. It's a powerful love story set in a real human drama. It's much more than the ship sinking, it's about how it got there and what happened afterwards.

I thought you meant great as in great story.
Also, how is Schindler's List a love story?
saltynuts said:People went to see Titanic (over and over gain) because the story touched them. It wasn't because 13 year old girls wanted to see Leo. Every time I went to go see it, the threater was filled with different people of all ages. I heard people clapping their hands at the end on more than one occasion.
Schindler's List is not a love story, it is a powerful human drama that's real. Titanic is also a powerful human drama that's real.
Let me put it this way------- Schindler's List is one of the worst films I've ever seen. It's shot in black&white and is 195 minnutes long- sooooo boring. We all know what happens- Jews get killed.
