I am going to Scotland

I don't think there is anywhere else in the world where you can experience rain, sunshine, hail, snow, heat & cold all in a couple of hours.

LOL how true.

What Scots? Or ginger hair? Or both?

The Irish were the first known peoples to inhabit the north of Scotland.

Anyways, I won't go into anymore detail until I find out what you were really saying...*set his alarm clock for 4:00 19 March, 2008*

I drove through Scotland once, pretty scary place, we stopped at the lights and almost had our aloys stolen by Willt the groundskeeper..

Nah, seriously Scotland just like England except the speech is more slurred.

LOL, they talk very much like people from the North of Ireland. Impossible to understand at the best of times :)

Whcih Scots would you be talkign about?

The accent & mannerisms can be generalized into the two categories: Highlands & Lowlands.

Which is it?

Many thanks for all of your kind replies. For all of you, I want to alert you that Traz is not dead. Traz is still on some of that underground street shit.

I am going to Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. I may also take a flight to Ireleand, going to Dublin for a day or two.

Stephen, maybe you can tell me some more?

Why the hell you going to Scotland, Traz trying to take over or you going into the net-gangster-witness relocation program?

Real Gz

My cousin attends university over there. He'll be going on spring break as soon as I arrive, which should make for a good time. I'm spending about a week there.

Stephen won't be back for a considerable period of time me thinks.

I am Glaswegian & while we tend to look down on Edinburgh folk as 'snobs', they are generally OK.

When one o'clock comes around, don't make the mistake of thinking you are still in the 'hood. That is not a gunshot, but a cannon sounding the time. ;)

Thanks for the note.

Also, what is the temperature like over there right now? What can I expect in Edin?

:thumb: Do, you won't regret it. Dublin's a really cool place ;)

Well it's been reasonably cold in Glasgow the past week but is pretty mild right now.

The forecast for Scotland is, cloudy with bright/sunny spells developing particularly in the west (Glasgow territory). Warm in sunshine, cooler in the east (Edinburgh territory), and in lingering cloud

The weather people don't think it won't get any hotter than 17 degress celsius & it won't get any colder than 10 degrees celsius.

But really, in this country, the weather changes in the blink of an eye at times.

I'm not sure about where you stand with your American Visa/Debit card situation.

From an ATM, I'm not too sure but there are definately places that specify in currency exchange & will be able to deal with this problem.

Unfortunately I don't know much about them as I obviously don't need to change currency over here.
