Technology how to block a page

is there a program that could block a specific page from loading. i mean, i need at my home computer that some internet addresses could not be loaded/accessed. the program could tell instead of loading that there is an error in loading, or that the address doesn't even exist etc.
could you help me with this? any experience?

your DNS might be screwed up. Whats the webpage you can't access? Just to be in the safe side make sure you run an anti-virus program and adware in safe mode.

no, u got me wrong. everything is ok with my connection. all i need, is a program that could block a specific web page from loading. i just don't want some pages to be loaded
