Amanda Dent disappeared after leaving her East 10th Street home at 9 p.m. Monday. She has a tattoo on her left wrist that reads "Nikki," which sources said is the name of the mother's 20- something friend.

It was unclear what sort of relationship the preteen and the older woman have, but the sources pointed out that in this photo the girl is wearing a "gay pride" symbol on her necklace - which seems to be a multicolored dog tag.

By raising a child to be an individual, by giving them guidelines and instilling(sp?) morals and values in them so that they grow up to be respectable, functional adults. So that they know how to handle any situation that might arise, or they would at least fill comfortable enough going to their parents for advise if they aren't certain how to handle the situation. That girl there is still a baby, tattoo's, piercings, hanging out in those areas alone is NOT something that should be going on. It's not like this is a 17 yr. old we're discussing.
