Technology How much for a studio ready computer?

I want to know how much are you willing to pay for a studio ready computer? I mean a computer that would have all the ram and fast processor, speakers and all that plus the recording and tracking software of your choice. What would you pay and what would you want in that computer? Holla because I have deals in the early 08'.

for a computer i would be willing to pay upwards of 2500 for a mac pro. probably one of the best if not the best for using for tracking and mixings. i would want it to be something like this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MacPro26/

what kind of deals are you talking? how can you provide these deals and why should i trust you?

The Macs are great from what I hear for studio production, video and audio. I don't use one but a friend of mine does and he likes it. It like that thing of Ford and Chevy lovers. You choose a side and stick to it.

I am trying to figure out how to produce a great studio ready computer. I want to find the best deals. Fancy cpu cases and all that. I will let you all know what I find and if I actually decide to sale the system. I may not be able to sale the computers with the software but I will be able to point you in the right direction, hint hint, YEEEEE

Storage is only limited by OS (you can use 2x1TB HDD's in Raid connection in Vista but you'd need to make 100gig partitions in XP) while most modern, even low-end motherboards can have max 16gb ram (some need bios flash tho).
