Hearing Life's So Hard yesterday got me wondering about this.

Other than When I Get Free and Life's So Hard, did he re-record any other pre-DR songs?

It's interesting how the 2 songs that he did re-record increased in their relevance to his life at the time he re-recorded them.

This is kind of far-fetched, it's most likely an error, but copyright.gov says there's a Souljah's Story that was made in 1996.

^damn. but I think alot of shit on copyright.gov...people are on crack when they put thigns in

Well, could be ballad of a dead souljah lol. sequel to the souljah's

Copyright.gov is right most of the time. If I read that on ascap.org I wouldn't have even considered it enough to post it.

Isnt that the title of unreleased Outlawz Song from 96? Maybe Pac dropped an unleaked verse on it or was credited with some writing for it?

high til i die uses the verse from im losing it, although high til i die was made before he joined death row (it was still made for Death Row)

i thought he re-recorded "R U Still Down", "Enemies With Me", and "Thug Style" on Deathrow because of Stretch being involved in em.....................guess not:(

When R U Still Down came out (the album) i doubt that Amaru had access to the Death Row tracks yet. The verses from Dramacydal on Enemies With Me sound like they much younger, thinking that it was done back before Tupac went to prison. When they went to Death Row, their voices and styles matured somewhat. When releasesd on the album, they just removed stretch and others, and kept dramacydal and changed up the beat.
