As I stated in a previous post, I've been working for Dell this summer

and I just wanted to know

how many other people who work at call centers love transfering angry customers to the wrong department just for the hell of it?

seriously, its the best feeling ever. i love it.

you call me up bitching at me because your precious computer has a problem and you want to take it out on me? too bad bitch.

same thing for foreigners who I can't understand
 
I've worked in that sort of thing before, not on a permanant basis. But I'll say this Mr. Robber, how do you know the customer you just got wasnt handballed to you from another employee? My phone company do that all the time, and yes its very fucking annoying.. :mad: I hope you get demoted!!
 
most of my calls are direct dial, not transfered to me (ofcourse theres always exceptions), and people don't realize that software support isn't free, so i get bitchy people alot

so i send them to customer care :D
 
I gotta say though, unless someone is being rude to me directly I cant get angry. I guess when the time comes when a company fucks me around I might. When I hooked up my mobile/cell phone both people I talked to I could bearly understand (poor English) and my mum works for the same company, she looked at my details and they were all wrong! lol Too bad if that stuff was actually important!
 
i get yelled at a lot too, cause i tell them they have a) a pirated copy of windows or b) they need to pay for support. I just take it all in. If its crazy, like you Robber of Banks, i just transfer over to customer care aswell, but we call it "customer relations".

Business customers are chillin. They call in for like SQL Server 2003 on like 20 computers and end up paying like 5 gz for support. Its nuts. They just go: alright no problem, heres the credit card number.

Sometimes is hilarious. As soon as you answer the phone, they start swearing. So im like: "thank you for calling Micros..." - "Fucken windows, god dammit etc etc". I laughed at a customer's face once cause of that shit. He went "Thats not funny!" I said " ya i know"

I dont really transfer angry customers over to wrong departments. Each dept. has its own number. But when you transfer and customer to our "customer relations" people, i usually 3 way myself into it and just listen to them SCREAAAMINNGGG. People have NO respect. For those who never worked in a call center...oh my goddd. Its honestly insane. People are fucked in the head. The shit they say. wow.

here's another example i ran into today

i got a guy who absolutely wouldn't buy a plan because he felt tech support should be covered becuase he baught the computer with a hardware warentee. i kept explaining that the issue was software reltated, and that because his computer worked for so many years without having problems, the problem he was having was something caused by him, not a malfunction of the computer, and he kept going on and on about how that doesn't matter because he paid for the computer and he expects support for free

after about 15 minutes of calmly argueing with the douchbag i said fuck it and transfered him to someone else. then about an hour later i go back and check the case notes just to see what he ended up doing, and i guess he just argued with the person i sent him to for awhile too and bitched out that persons supervisor about the same shit he told me
