What else am I going to be doing? The cost of living in the London area is vey high so it's not like I have loads of money. During the week there isn't much to do and I've done the get pissed every night. Most of my surfing is also done at work. I'm hardly ever on in the evening and never on a saturday.

Plus I come from a poor area, and that's where I made all my friends. So no matter how much I earn, I only go out or go on holiday when they do. However I am a liar. I live on the street and surf the net from the internet cafe that gives me shelter.

I don't get free flights. I don't work for an airline, I work for BAA.

I worry that maybe someone at Heathrow is a member. And I would never do anything for money that would upset or endanger another. But no my perks wouldn't benefit anyone else, just little old me.

Alright boys and girls enough about pittsey(sorry dude, i am more interested in what H.E. Penny packer has to say). Pittsey if any one understand why u wont take advantage of those perks its me. I really think u have very good morals, i will rep u when i am not tired and u wont believe some of the people and how cheap and how much they misuse those perks.

I was asked this question twice already my job is not as secret as pittsey is but i was asked where do i work and what do i do?
A. Daimlerchrysler at the headquarters and i dont do some silly programming, as i am administrator for there middleware environment, we run mainly a strict Hour-Hour policy with ot ofcourse. The hourly basis rate runs around 70 bills an hour.
Oh one more i had to take a pay cut(I wont tell u how much but i made much more than 70 bills an hour) because i used to travel for ibm and i got fed up because of traveling. It was fun at one point alright but after a while it got down right crazy.

Mr/miss penny packer plz take that job if u dont like u can quit the first day but u wont know whats behind it until u try it. If u think there is a little bit of fear involved i can help u through ur first day, like somethings that u can say and not say and how to keep ur cool in situations.

This is 1 of the reasons why I didn't disclose it. Too many haters and people trying to discredit me. In the UK it isn't a lot of money. Especially in the London area. My morgage is $3K a month.

A) I manage all of the CCTV, Traffic Lights and it's controls and the Taxi Expert system (excluding the server side) at Heathrow airport.

B) Heathrow Airport pay a lot more than most due to it being a stressful and highly important job. Anyone heard of 911.

Maybe because I didn't spend all my time at college and instead worked my way up the ladder. I don't even have a degree. So who's cleverer me or your dad?


edit - Oh yeah, being on 24 hr call out helps too.

cos he's inthe wrong job? maybe 7 years at uni didnt help. I know ppl with PhD's in EE that earn more than that..and ppl that earn less, just depends wat u do.

We're not your co-workers...we're perfectly cool with being told something, and keeping it to ourselves. I don't want to say how much I make because its embarassing. I feel ashamed because its worse than what my peers make, though I put in a lot more effort them. Try mastering a computer system, drug names, code of operation, local and federal laws, etc. Then look at home much I get paid...I am treated like dirt.

I get a bit extra from little sidelines I have here and there. But they are becoming less and less these days.

lol. I still did decent-ish at school though. Although i was predicted all top top grades. I got 2 B's and 7 C's at GCSE level. Then after I got the job, they sent me to college and I done 7 years part-time and got a pre degree qualification. A degree won't help my chances any, not where I work now, so I didn't bother progressing. And as they chucked me in the deep end, I don't have time either.

Heathrow give you London Weighting. It is extra money because of the expense of living in and around London. Plus they pay very well.
I'm comfortable with the money, I just hate being accused of being a liar. I don't lie. It's one of the only decent parts about me.
