How do you dress like?

Thanks for all the help :thumb: actually I'll go shopping for a few good hours and see what I can find. But i think i'll be buying some skate shop jeans but not too baggy and a polo or t-shirt. I don't know how could I wear so baggy clothes as i did for past few years lol. i felt cool and now i feel like an idiot. When i see someone quite mature looking like a wigger it makes me wanna slap him lol. Especially when he thinks he's gangsta :p it's good I wasn't ever acting like that. It's stupid that in my country clothes actually suck :/ When I go to London and get in any clothes shop i see really nice and cheap clothes. Here we have expensive clothes that really suck. It's hard to find something nice because everything looks gay or stupid with all those cheap decorations that make people look like a Christmas tree :p

i dont wear anything baggy. I look stupid cause im 6'3, but then again, i dont wear anything tight. Kinda hard to explain. All my pants/khakis are from Eddie Bauer, cause theyre the only place that sells pants my size considering my height and lenghtyness, so the waist size i get is 33" by 36" (L) That fits me nice. Usually wear a like a Champion hoodie if i feel lazy but like a nice sweater if i dont. Got a couple of dress shirts and tons of tshirts and polos for that Killa-Calli weather we sometimes get. Got a couple of zip-ups, those serve me right. As far a jackets go i either got a leather jacket or rock my snowboarding jacket. Got tons of classic sneakaz with a pair of Timber-Boots, every gangsta needs Timber-Boots ;)

your style sucks

I like to think i dress kinda slick. I do wear baggy clothes but not 5 sizes to big or anything like that. Do have a few pairs of timbo's grey/black/ and fuck knows what the other colour are. A few pairs of trainers, usually go for nike air max(chunky an funky:) ) Loads of white tops. loads of expensive jeans, kaki's,combats,. No shirts or dressed trousers or any of that sort of stuff.

pants this size or smaller

don't wear baggy shirts or sweaters, and i don't really wear baggy pants in the context you think. i don't sag or nothing like that. i'll admit to having a makaveli branded shorts and a pair of akademiks pants though but that's just cause i bought a bunch of super cheap clothes when i was out of the country.

i used to be a little skater kid and back then i used to sag but that's before i even knew what hiphop was haha.

Maybe it's stupid but for last few weeks I've been really seriously thinking about clothes. It's a strange time in my life when I don't know what to wear. I've been always wearing some baggy pants, a bit bigger t-shirt and a hoody but i start feeling like an idiot in that kind of clothes. I guess I'm getting mature. I feel soo stupid in those clothes now. I've been also trying some totally plain, slim clothes (fitted jeans, t-shirt) but i felt like an idiot in them too. I'm 18, white male at about 175cm/5.65feet so now wearing too big clothes makes me feel like a wigga lol. Tho i never dressed up as a wigga really but i feel like that in my much too baggy clothes. So.. I simply can't find a good style for me. Have you ever felt like that? What's you're style? Any suggestions? I just want to look real good and don't feel like an idiot. Also it's hard for me to stop wearing baggy clothes lol. I feel soo lame

Haha, good for you, time to grow up, If you are 30 and wearing baggy shit you deserve no respect.

People look at you so fucking different when you dress ilke a normal person, and you feel so much better it's incredible. I know first hand. All it takes is a nice shirt or polo that actually fits you. So the younger you are the better.

I always make sure to have a blue flag in my back left pocket just to make sure these other Canadians know that I'm a crip. Cause you know, if you're wearing blue, you're a crip by association. Also bought some of these off ebay cause it makes me look like a well educated Southern crip.

Lets get something straight. That first thing you wrote was stupid as fuck. Somebody doesn't deserve respect because of how they dress at a certain age? It isn't about how someone dresses, it's about the person. How many people in the world look at hip hop like it's bullshit and they laugh at white dudes for embracing the hip hop culture and dressing in "hip hop clothes"? They assume they are wanna-be's, when in reality they are ignorant as fuck because they don't know the actual person they are criticizing.

Hip Hop has been and always will be a very big part of my life, no matter what age I live to. I'm gonna wear what I wear and that's it. It won't matter what anyone else thinks. I don't wear ridiculously baggy clothes, but i'm saying.. even if I did, so what? Hopefully there are enough decent people out there that are smart enough to think like this too.

There's no normal way to dress. Anyone with half a brain knows that. You dress how you want to dress and you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. Just be yourself and be proud to be yourself. To me, that's the most important thing in the world. If I walk past an older person and they wanna look at me weird and think something, then fuck em. They'd be the asshole. Nobody will change me but me. And anyone who lets people change em is an idiot, plain and simple.

yeah, seriously, lose the bagged out shit. no one takes people like that seriously.

Linx has some solid points. Dante that has to be one of the worst comments i have ever read since this board was invented.

Im 27 years old younging and when i was younger my clothes where baggy, as i got older they remained baggy because its what im comfortable in. I have nice clothes as well, very nice khaki pants button ups but those are for work but i dont have to wear them for the most part i got some semi baggy dickei khakis and semi baggy button ups, i work in sales selling cctv equipment to rich old men like dante and let me tell u what they dont look down on me once we get to talking about there needs, they might first think that but as we get to talking about there needs and i address there issues and concerns there demeanor changes quickly.

So if your comfortable in baggy clothes wear baggy clothes get some nice polo's some nice button ups long and short sleeve wear and under shirt get yourself some matching shoes. Fuck what other people think. you will find people out there that will look past your clothes and get to know the guy.

oh come on. please. i wear (slightly) baggy clothes too. of course i was talking about the shit that each leg could fit a phone poll and the waistline is hanging to the knees. the point is that as people grow up and get professional identities, they will find that wearing excessively baggy clothes will prohibit their successes.

i agree with linx exactly. i live hip hop, but you do have to walk the line of societal norms too when you go out in the world every day. i know that i wouldn't go see a psychotherapist who wore some xxxxxxxxxxl white tee, so why should i dress the same for my own work?

Depends on your work, (seeing as i dont know what you do) if its corporate then by all means you wouldnt but if its an urban clothing store u just might, so actually u can get somehwere wearing xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl depending on what it is your doing wether it be rapping, urban shoe stores and clothing stores etc. Thats why most places implement dress codes or uniforms anyhow. Just your first comment was so generalizing and absurd i had to say something about it. But you are right in most cases when it comes to careers.

All i have to say... Kanye West...The man has style. Generally wears clothes that FIT him.

And i completely agree with Dante's comments so kudo's to you.

I generally wear jeans that fit me and sit well. Might have a few rips in them but they're stylish rips rather than 'bum rips'. If i'm going out to a club, i generally chuck on a fitted shirt and a suit jacket on top. If i'm just walking around during the day i might throw on a long sleeve t, a tshirt with my denim. If it's a hot day, board shorts and a tshirt!
