Album version:

"All I want is money, FUCK the fame I'm a simple man" -2Pac

Radio Version:

"All i want is money, PLUS the fame I'm a simple man" - 2Pac

That's two different meanings man. On the album version he don't want the fame. But in the radio version he wants the fame :p

I'd rather have that than lame dings and chimes on radio edits.

And other Tupac radio edits, he really went out of his way to make sure the radio edit is good, by changing the song quite a bit. (Pour out a little liquor and How long will they mourn me come to mind.)

I noticed that a while back too.I hate radio edits.Artists throw any old words in just to fill the gaps.
Rarely, they are usually just censored. I'd prefer a different meaning over a censor... although that is a pretty dumb choice for wording.

In the album he´s serious when he says that he don´t like the fame.
In the radio edit he´s just joking around: all i want is money and all the fame, i´m a simple man. I don´t think it´s a real serious contradiction

yeah i noticed this a while back, thought it was kinda strange how pac said fuck tha fame and then he said i want tha fame .

Either he just throwing words anywhere or he was in two minds. Tupac said himself he was at war with himself.

noh man not two minds or anything if you think about the radio one for 2 seconds you should easily notice that it does not make any since at all, how could you say all you want is money and fame and think your a simple man. thats clearly contradicting. but dont forget pac could only take 15 min to write a whole song you really think he thought about this shit he probably just added a word that rimed so i dont see it as a contradiction at all.

no pac wanted to relate and he said this in ressurection just to get to you.All i want is the money, fame that's for beliver's to reach for the stars who are trying to be like him, now the other version fuck the fame is for hustlas if you notice talibkwali and alot underground rapper's dont rap for fame they just want to put food in the table and he couldn't put this in one verse cuz u sound like a pimp just telling a bitch what she wants to here.
