if you have internet on your cell, you can create your own mp3's and host them on geocities for example, than with your cell, you write the url , and the song will download on your cell phone...but you must have the mp3 on your cell and I think you need something like WAP internet i don't know exactly

for myself, I took the chorus of Staring Through my Rearview, hosted it, and downlaoded it, now its my ringtone
 
damn , shit is complicated, i dont have interntet on my cell i dont think, well i try to connect to it but it fails, so u guess i have to buy that cable so i can transfer them from the comp to my cell, anyone know which cable to buy?

call your provider, they'll send you settings either via a text message or just tell u over the phone. Then you'll have access to the internet, but it's pretty expensive.
What i recommend is buy a little bluetooth USB stick (about $20 US dollars)Then you can transfer mp3's and anything else on your computer using that.

every phone company should have internet on their phone network, unless you opt out. they usually charge you per kb if you are not signed to a data plan. here 1kb costs 5cents. my mp3s are usually 200kb(about 30 sec clips), so thats like 10 bucks for a 30 sec clip. better watch out how much they charge you
