How Do Albums Leak?

#1
They just tend to like show up on mIRC and forums, like im wondering, in a studio, after the day is done you'd figure that they would save the track on an untouchable computer with no interenet connection, like unless someone inside the studio, gets on that computer and saves it to a CD or a disk and walks off with it how does it happen?

Stores usually get the cd's a couple days before they are supposed to be released. Also someone can steal it when they are getting released. Also dont radio stations and certain magazines get advances?

Sometimes it happens that someone internally leaks the album or else, it gets in the wrong hands when they're sending out the albums. You know you just need a copy to have it all over the Net.

yup, so one of the copies will be taken from the production plant and given to a ripper, who shall contact lets say the rns rippin group, he ll rip the album upload it to them and they shall distribute it for free over the world wide web,
first avenue is mirc then it makes it too other sites/apps.

It gets on to a RNS's HQ FTP Site... Then people known as Curry's or courier send the files from FTP to FTP and then IRC XDCC bots get setup with a Tar or Zip file of the CD then Newsgroups get them

^ it's sort of like a promotion, it gives everybody the chance to listen to the music... that's why it's a good thing in a way.

I know companies leak some singles (promo CDS) for this purpose.
