whats worse is when you get customers sporting a hissy fit lol. i work in a phone/electronics store owned by the largest phone operator over here. naturally, since we are affiliated with them, we are often mistaken for being responsible for doing what is really their job. so yeah i get a lot of people complaining about shit, being mad and stuff in my store.

Is your time money? Unless you're a busy businessman, you can take a take a minute break from your calls. Your friends, girlfriends, and parents don't have to talk to you for every second of the day. Its not like you'll die if you don't speak to them for a short moment.

Most of the calls are of a business nature. There's a lot of pressure to respond to problems in a time limit. Time is money. So I answer and I help. If I didn't I'd earn less money and I wouldn't be able to get pissed as often.
