How can you tell who rep's you?

I'm sorry, I'm still relatively new to the whole posting thing, blast me all you want for it and yes I'm sure its been asked and covered a thousand times, hang me, I don't care...

But people will rep me and the only message they leave is "Rep me back" or they give me props on something and I don't know who it is if they don't sign it... any way to tell?

only people that are vip members can see who has rep'd them.

only other way is if someone leaves their name after their message, which is what i usually do even if they are a vip member

if you ask a mod nicely they might look for you
