Is it just me or was this film wack as fuck? The only good part was the tit fest at the start. There was no plot, poor character development and a shite ending. All in all, very poor. Anyone else think Tarantino neeeds to stop whoring his name out before people start to think he was actually involved in crap like this?

Anyway, drop your views.

Wasnt that bad. Story was a bit slow, and pretty much lacking til the end - didnt pick up much there either, but it was a switch. Porn wasnt that bad, dude up there must be a prude. Was about the same any movie would have, jus wasnt spread out throughout the movie. And I dont think gore was the theme here, I think it was the torture. Yall think jus cuz Tarentino produced it its gunna have a shitload of blood? lol

When you say "wack as fuck," I believe you are giving it too much credit. I would prefer to say, "worst piece of fucking shit" or "it was so bad, it made my testicles hurt."

Friend at work said its just Tarantino doing more pointless graphic violence.. but I'm a horror fan, so I'll still check it out.

P.S. Tarantino is a scary ugly freak who occasionally makes excellent films.

eli roth (the guy who did Cabin Fever) directed the move not Tarantino
. Tarantino just executive produced i.e put his name there to boost box office sales

Tarantino only makes classics. Calling him an ugly freaks pretty low grow the fuck up.

Well Tarantion was only one of the three executive producers of Hostel. Incase you dont know executive producer doesn't have any control over the contents of the movie. His name was all over it just so people would go see it I remember the commercial had Big letters Quentin Tarantino for half the commercial, then at the end for maybe a second it popped up directed by eli roth. Kill Bill not a classic? Well I respect your opinion but go to RottenTomatoes.com (a site that collects excerpts from sites and scores) I'm democratic.

I liked it. It made a change from all the usual horror films. It actually had a story. And just the right amount of nudity a horror film should.

The movie was mediocre. It was entertaining, at most. However, like Jibster pointed out, it lacked what good movies lack.

I am wondering, though. Is this loosely based on real events? Does sick shit like this really happen?
