It is very possible. Prolly your body is reacting to the change it's about to go through. I never got sick with either of my boys but with my lil girl, I stayed sick. Almost everytime I ate I got sick. I can't remember though if I got sick before I had em. God that's been a long time ago lol If you're already dialated and effaced, the pains are prolly what's called Braxton Hicks, kinda pre-contractions. You can stay dialated and effaced for a while though. I know this is prolly gonna sound nasty but have you lost your mucous plug yet? You woulda noticed if you have. It woulda been like a blob when you went to the bathroom. When you lose that, your water breaking or labor isn't far behind. Try walking alot if you're ready to get it over with. The more active you are, the sooner it will happen. With my last two, I worked til the day I had em and I didn't have any problems whatsoever giving birth. It was actually ALOT easier than I thought it'd be, even with the first one. The closer it gets, the more you'll be ready to just get it over with. You'll be real figgedy, like you just can't stand it anymore. When you get to that point, just do alot of walking or house cleaning or something like that. It'll make the process go faster.
