'Hit Em Up' 2 recorded before or after retail version ?

Storm, Napoleon etc), can just sum1 once again confirm if this was the studio version before they had redone it into the common known version wit Fatal, Kadafoi, EDI OR was it just a version recorded afterwards in addition ?? I think it was once conformed taht there was the unreleased version forst, and THEN the commercial one. Any1 2 confirm ?ß
