How soon people seem to forget. If track records are indicators of someone’s credibility, the self-described “memory lapsed” and “highly medicated” Kevin Hackie certainly shows one of immense inconstancy and fraudulent motive.
Recently Kevin Hackie, ex police officer, FBI Agent/Informant and Wrightway bodyguard claimed that he is willing to put up $100,000 if Reginald Wright, former Wrightway Security owner, takes a polygraph test claiming he wasn’t involved in the murder of hip hop icon Tupac Shakur (2Pac) (did he put this money in escrow yet?).
Of course, this “challenge” is coming from the same person who retracted his outrageous claims he made (on several documentaries and interviews) when he was actually under oath back on June 22nd, 2005. For example, he clearly designated a connection between former LAPD officer David Mack and the legendary hip hop figure and CEO of Death Row Records Suge Knight (calling Mack a “covert agent” in a 2004 declaration he voluntarily signed), yet when he went under oath suddenly his words were “altered” and “taken out of context” and retracted the whole account. Now after Hackie flatly contradicted himself once in court, you’d think he would keep his theories to himself. Not so. How he’s claiming to have had knowledge that Wright was behind Tupac’s (2Pac) murder.
However, when Hackie was on the stand in June, 2005, he also claimed that Reginald Wright vowed to “get” Biggie for having Shakur (2Pac) killed. This claim, however, contradicts his current assertion that Wright himself was the one who orchestrated Shakur’s hit since he indicated in court that Wright wanted revenge for Shakur’s death – clearly not demonstrating his “inside knowledge” that Wright was the one who "really" had Shakur killed this whole time. Since he was an FBI Agent/Informant, surely this “information” would have been fundamental and utilized THEN since the FBI inquired Wright some time ago – and guess what? The authorities never – ever – considered Wright an actual suspect. There still isn’t a shred of authentic evidence Wright or Knight were involved in Shakur’s death. Not. A. Shred.
Even if Wright takes the polygraph test and “passes”, this probably won’t change the mind of conspiracy theorists who believe Tupac’s murder is in inside job set up by Wright and Knight simply because they don’t want to believe it.
For example, critics in the Kennedy assassination maintained that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby knew each other before November 24th, 1963 (the day Ruby killed Oswald), and thus this “proved” a huge governmental conspiracy. Then on July 18th, 1964 Ruby “passed” a polygraph test saying that he didn’t know Oswald, and wasn’t part of a conspiracy, and that the theorists were wrong, etc. Did this change the opinion of conspiracy theorists? Of course not.
So considering the track record of the one making the claims, perhaps Hackie should be the one subjected to a polygraph test. After all, he admitted that his “memory is bad” and that he “probably wont even remember our conversation tomorrow” (speaking to attorney Joseph L. Pittera). Wright, on the other hand, has remained consistent. So Hackie demanding Wright to take a polygraph test is like the pot calling the kettle “black” – nice try Kev. Try harder next time.
