Hip-Hop - Beyond Beats and Rhymes

Anyone watch this documentary on PBS? I only caught the last bit of it and saw glimpses of Talib, Chuck D and Jadakiss (fuck he has a whiney/scratchy voice)... It looks like it was basically about how hiphop was cater to white males and taken advantages of by old business men etc....Kiss was sayin "after 700k units, its all white people after"


looks like it was a really good documentary

here is a link to the article. it has more to do with how gangster rap has a negative effect on the youth.


in some what related news CNN's Paula Zahn show they are doing a special called "hip hop-art or poison" i think that airs tonight. i wont be watching so someone tell me what it says
