#1
Just announced for WrestleMania 23, will be two of hip hop's current mainstream artists in Ludacris and Timbaland as they'll be performing at the 23rd annual Wrestlemania. The wrestling extravaganza, which has gradually become wrestling's superbowl has been around for 23 years and continues to grow it's legacy.

The event will be held at Fore Field Detroit,Michigan on Sunday, April 1st with an expected attendance of a record breaking 78,000 fans and a high number of expected PPV buyrates.

The match lineup of the night will include 2 blockbuster main event matchups. WWE champion and self titled rapper, John Cena (who is currently at gold after dropping his hip hop debut album title You Can't See Me) will go face to face with wrestling icon, Shawn Michaels for the WWE championship. In addition, wrestling legend, The Undertaker will put his WrestleMania undefeated streak on the line as he goes face to face with current heavyweight titleholder, Batista for the World Heavyweight championship.

The add on bonus of hip hop at the huge event works out great in favor of hit making producer Timbaland, as he'll be dropping his album Shock Value 2 days later after the event. If executed right, Timbaland will turn some of those 78,000 fans into buyers of his new album and maybe fans of his own. Timbaland is expected to perform new cuts from his highly anticipated album scheduled to feature Dr.Dre, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cent, Elton John, and many more.

No word yet on what songs the recent Grammy Award winner, Ludacris will perform.
