Okay, I'm one of those people who hate everything fashion-ey. I understand that like fine wines and abstract art it's an "acquired taste", but the superficial nature of clothing fashion and physical appearance has programmed in me a hatred for anything related to it.

Nevertheless, I gave your article a read. I guess it's interesting to read your career's story from your point of view with the interview extracts in there. Man, lmao, did you look gay with that long blonde hair though. That's a style of the past - leave it there. Black/brown is a cooler color anyway.

I like to polarize. Everyone I met either hated or loved the blonde. I don't plan on bringing it back any time soon though.

I liked the braids. I hate the bleach. I don't have a problem with long hair but do you not style it at all?

Casey, someone left you a comment about being hot. You should make sweet desi love to it (unless she looks like a pitbull, and if you weren't married also lol).

Either way, great article. That long hair (2nd pic) reminds me of the 80s retro days. lol. Great stuff :D

I do these days. Circa 2005-2007 I didn't. This year my hair is shorter than it's ever been, but still long, and very stylized.

Thanks! It's all about the 80's styles. I can deal with the girls who leave those kind of comments. They're usually obsessive teenage fans, there's a few of them that stalk out our facebook pages.

What threw me for a loop was THIS tabloid trash article about me that someone sent to me last night. I don't usually read stuff like this, which is completely fabricated. I was a little shocked at first but people are gonna write whatever they want to gets hits on their websites I guess.

I read it, I agree with the majority of what Preach said in his first paragraph. I like that you are willing to take chances and change things up with your hair and look.. then again.. since I've known you (albeit online) for awhile it fits your personality. I agree with Keco, hated the bleach. When do we see updated pics of the new look? When are you coming to the States to play?

/\ Same answer for both! North American tour starts beginning of July and all of the band will have a new look to go with the new album that will hopefully be finished by then. We're going to be playing mostly the new songs on the tour with maybe only 3-4 hits from the back catalog. I imagine we'll do an official photoshoot around the same time and of course lots of people will be taking photos and videos of the shows. Since all the individual dates have their own PR stuff going on, I imagine there'll be some TV shows done at least in the major cities and places where we have a big fanbase like Toronto and the Bay Area.

I don't know if we'll be playing any shows near you though on this part of the tour :(

We have shows in SF/Bay Area, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and London Ontario on this leg of the tour. Chances are we'll do another leg of the tour later in the year after the album is out.

Yes, well ... the downside of being in the public eye - false rumors and bogus accusations. As long as you know the truth, you can't be touched. Props for being chill about it, some people would probably say something back in regards to it. I know if it was me, I'd probably hunt down the writer lol, only cause I find tabloids truly disrespectful and destructive.

Yeah. I'm used to being misquoted in interviews at this point, but completely made-up stories like this one are a bit less common.

I remember when I was a kid, I used to read this popular music magazine here in the UK called Smash Hits (i'm sure all the other UK'ers here will remember it). Anyway they would profile my cousin, Apache Indian quite regularly as around that time he had had 7 hit singles in the UK charts in a period of about 3-4 years. One time I remember them writing a piece about how his real name was a closely guarded secret (which obviously wasn't true) and I asked him about it. He just told me that most of these people just write whatever the hell they want the majority of the time.

It sucks, but that's life I guess. Most people's perception of people in the public eye is solely based on what the media reports and so often it's all just bogus.

Do you have the exact dates for the places in the States? If so, I can probably make it out there.

Sure. Would it be easier for you to get to Toronto though? That's closer to Chicago than the West Coast.

These are the dates at the moment, although one or two more might be added and I think the Portland show is getting moved to the 4th due to change of venue:

1st July 2010 - Vancouver, BC, Canada
2nd July 2010 - San Francisco, CA, USA
3rd July 2010 - Portland, OR, USA
5th July 2010 - Seattle, WA, USA
7th July 2010 - Ottawa, ON, Canada
9th July 2010 - London, ON, Canada
10th July 2010 - London, ON, Canada
11th July 2010 - Mississauga, ON, Canada

If you make it out to a show, defo let me know ahead of time and I'll get you on the guest list.

I plead the fifth.

As for Norway I have no idea. I would love to play a show in Norway though.

Wow. Those were the rumors?

Fuck em. DO YOU.

I like that you switch your styles and I didn't have a problem with either, not even the bleach one.

Braids was tight though. haha.
