I cant hear the cops referrences which are cleary heardable on the RUSD acapella along with the clean references.

here's what I do hear on the OG:

[2nd verse]
"my hand is on the 16 shots niggas give me drama and I'mma have to pull my glock.."

[3rd verse]
"lip lock'd on my dick when my shit drops, every nigga on my block is feeling shell shocked.."

and here's what I do hear on the RUSD pella:
[2nd verse]
"my hand is on the 16 shots, semi-automatic crooked cop-killing glock".."
but also the background vocals are same as on the OG with the exception that the "niggas" part being filtered out

[3rd verse]
"lip lock'd on my dick when my shit drops, every nigga on my block dropped 2 cops.."
but also the background vocals are as same as on the OG and cleary different tonality from the main vocals layer

now my f...ing wonders are:
1.why the hell the "niggas" word from the first sentence appears to be on the OG and got filtered out on the remixed acapella?
2.why the remixed acapella still have other parts of the background vocals layer that maintained the swearings (included "nigga/niggas")
3.why the remixed acapella has these vocals from the 1st & 2nd sentences treated as background vocals?
4.why the OG does have these vocals appearing in the main vocals layer?

-.-

only thing I could think about is that the OG (we have) is an edited demo recorded in the attempt of letting interscope release Hellrazor in case they wouldnt release the main OG 'cause of the cop reference.
if somebody knows some more history behind that song and can clear me some that'd be appreciated ;0

My guess is there are 2 Hellrazors, similar to Thug Style, if you amplify the acapella you hear the RUSD version beat, confirming that there are 2 OGs. :)

...........
the Hellrazor acapella comes from the premix to the RUSD remixed version; the full OG is not leaked; the leaked OG is weird and cop-censored.
now please lets get on the arguement of the weird adlibs (not beat related) and dont reply both back and forth like in a crap chat session.
Im hoping that others will share their opinions too ;\

i would say that while this is interesting, it's not a very big deal. pac did doubles, triples, and even quads, and a lot of times he changed lines so that the layers conflict. i would say that the conflicting layer(s) (which may have been recorded as after or before thoughts) were mixed low in these tracks.

...kinda the military minds rounds vs. shots deal.

the only person i could imagine would know this is dante, cause well let's face it, he knows a lot of shit about a lot of different shit lol.

unless he knows and posts in this thread, guesses are likely to be all you're gonna get, and the guess that there are two versions is the best bet. there could be several different scenarios. maybe pac wasn't satisfied with one take and made another. maybe he didnt want to say "fuck cops" because of all the controversy around him at the time. no one can really know.

another guess is that there are multiple vocal layers. when the og was mixed one of the layers was "removed", or more accurately the volume on one of the layers was lowered to the point where you can't hear it, while when the remix was mixed, qd or whoever mixed it decided he'd use the vocal layer that seemingly wasn't there in the og.

The CLean version of RUSD spins several words backwards.

Thug Life mother** I lick shots
Every ** on my block dropped two **

And my hand's on the sixteen-shot, **, tell me Lord

That proves that there WAS an edited version of the song, and that it is only available in the remixed format (The 2nd group of lyrics) (Every ** on my block dropped 2 cops, etc.) hence, this was the final version of the song. If they are both OGS, this would be the one that Pac chose to be the final version.

That proves the producer (or who ever censored it) just reversed those parts on the acapella.
