If that's why you want to marry more than one spouse, you have no understanding of why its allowed in the first place. Besides that point, you cannot have intercourse with more than one person at a time.

Please don't marry more than one person on the basis of having a strong sexual appetite. Also, remember they are humans. They are not baggage. You have to care for everyone and treat them well.

That's not true. Whether you're Mormon or not, its illegal in the USA. When Utah joined the USA, it was part of an agreement to abandon the practice of marrying more than one person. Utah did agree, but there are Mormons that have stayed true to their beliefs.

Lets say a woman could marry more than one husband, would you be up for it?

If I am not mistaken, one of the reasons for this difference is that one wouldn't be able to tell which husband a child belongs to if a woman has more than one husband. Please don't say "Well, we have DNA!" For how long? About twenty years now. That's nothing.

Even if we have DNA tests, they are not free...far from that. They are quite expensive, even too much for a government to waste its money on unless it is needed.

But lets say you get the DNA test, you'll have to take it at least twice to confirm the results, because test results are not perfect.

The number of spouses you have has nothing to do with AIDS. Marrying a single person won't eliminate your chances of "catching" AIDS. If you want to be totally safe, never have intercourse. Problem solved!

Marrying a single person will eliminate your chances of catching AIDS most definetely. If your spouse gets checked, and you get checked, and no positive HIV, you can have sex freely, without protection. Here's a demo:
A man has four wives. With his first wife, he has unprotected sex because he wants kids. His second wife comes along, and he has unprotected sex with her as well, because he wants children with her too. That enormously increases the chance of catching AIDS. More partners, more chances of catching AIDS. It's not rocket science. I do agree that the AIDS problem is also due to lack of information, though. But, my point stands.
