Has Game really left Aftermath?

#1
The rumours have been bubbling under the radar for months that Game will leave Aftermath Records to in order to release his sophomore album, The Doctor’s Advocate, under an imprint other than G-Unit Records.

Although it is still unconfirmed, it seems more and more likely that Game has left Aftermath and signed with Geffen Records.

Comptongame.com is a promotional website for Game owned by Interscope. Amongst the usual official logos on the opening page, there is no Aftermath logo but instead, a Geffen logo. This move would not compromise the relationship between Game and Dr. Dre, it simply allows Game to officially remove himself from the G-Unit tag.

If Comptongame.com is correct, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine encouraged Game to sign a five album deal with Geffen in exchange for a distribution deal for Black Wall Street.

Representatives from either camp are yet to comment but an official conformation or denial is expected.

jimmy iovine should have the power to take game off gunit. game was only in the crew, not the label.
the doc has the g-unit tag on the back so i'm sure he was on g-unit they are all really aftermath anyway so it should not matter. Dre is smart he is making money off both game and 50 so he is keeping them both happy:thumb:

It seems that Interscope doesn't want problems in their own house. So they passed The Game to Geffen. If this turned to be true, I'm sure that this will affect The Game's sales. Too bad for him... He must put so much effort to show progress and maturity on his new album...
Will fiddy benefit from this? I think yes. He'll be more undisturbed now. Of course, the beef is still on, but it's not the same if you are beefin' with somebody who sits next to you and eat from the same table.
As far for the Dre, he's just a shadow. Several producers outshined him in the last couple of years. He doesn't want problems with anybody so this is some kind of Solomon's solution... He can continue to work with both, The Game and fiddy...

Well, "even though Geffen continues to exist as its own imprint, it was now reduced in size and stature to fit into the greater expansion of Interscope (WIKIPEDIA)."

Ain't nothing changed...Dre and Iovine are still going to make their money. He was signed to G-Unit as long as he stayed on Aftermath, even if he was not down with 50 CENT. This was just a way to make sure 50 doesn't rape Game on sales and other stuff. It doesn't stop Dre from being the executive producer for the album and making his money. Interscope will still push him the way they pushed him last time. If you're thinking they won't push him like they push 50, youre right..THey never have and never will. 50 is the flag ship, unfortunately.

fitty NEVER had ANY royalties as a PRODUCER, WRITER, OR 'label owner' over game, it was FOR SHOW, GIVEN to fitty by doc dre - he was paid for what he wrote as a writer but GIVEN NO RIGHTS WHATSOEVER....................(IF YOU DON;T BELIEVE check the fine print) so the geffen move is more of a , fck it we wont be put in the middle of anything between game and fitty if they trade shots 'officially' on any cds, hey the only winners in this deal would be jimmy iovine AND doc dre, eliminating 'conflict of interest".................................it also gives game the opportunity to stabalize his label with NEW MONEY coming from geffen..........................hope it works................and he brings the HEAT........................like his bay day's

I really wish a magazine would step up and say what is official and what it bullshit. 50 just kinda aseems like he is trying to do to Game what he is doing to Styles P. Interscope keeps pushing the album back further and further till nobody has an interest anymore. Whatever label the album comes out on, I wish it would come out soon.

This album will just be a lil' bitch dissing G-Unit and going all insightful about his relationship with his hero Dre, and no i hate G-Unit too, but putting out all those G-Unit diss mixtapes was bitchy and a waste.
