I never said that i was actually supporting them lol, but i have thought for a long time(since just after World Cup 2006) that Germany would win this tournament.Germany do play good football at times. I wouldnt mind if they won but id like to see a new team winning like Turkey or someone.

That was our own fault. Everyone loses to an F-country at one time or another.

ah come on, Ireland were no F country at that time or during the 90's for that matter. It wasnt any fluke that we beat ye in that qualifier either because we also drew with ye in Holland after throwing away a 2 goal lead in the last 10 minutes.We had a good team back then and played some good football as well.If we had Keane in our squad for the 2002 World Cup we could have got to the semi's. He picked a great time to have a rant about the training pitch didnt he.

Perhaps now we are a C or D country but hopefully Trappatoni will change that.
