Hamas, when it was first created, was viewed by Israel as an alternative to the PLO in the late 80s, before they negotiated with the PLO and allowed the creation of the Palestinian Authority.

I guess you can call Hamas an Israeli funded group in that Israel did give them money in the 80s, before they became the main opposition terrorist group in the 21st century. That doesn't really mean anything when put in context though.

Im sorry, if you wanna discuss this ATI then make the thread again. But most of this thread is off-topic and beef. Morris may feel he had a point but I dont think most people will get to Morris' post becasue of all the beef beforehand. Besides I think the beef may continue in this thread if left open
