Where did you hear that they are cancelling it? I saw it yesterday morning when i went to Target and they had like 8 of them for the Wii for like $80 bucks. If it's true that they are removing them from the stores then ima go buy it right now since my niece and nephew want it.
Ok after a little investigating into the matter. The game isn't really being "taken" off shelves. It's merely being recalled since for some reason the game's music tracks are playing in Mono instead of the stereo and Dolby Pro Logic II that it's suppoed to be playing them in. Activision says it's a software problem and are trying to fix it. So Carmi if you are lookin to buy it i would suggest buying it after Activision fixes the problem on the game.
alright so it's gonna come back. anyways if i buy it its most probably gonna be for the 360.
Awesome game, best so far in the series. I however prefer the Rock Band guitar over the GHIII guitar.

i don't find it super exciting but i don't find it super boring too. it's okay for me.
The only thing I hate is the stupid wirelss control. I was on Live the other day, and the control died on me, so I bought rechargable batteries since I figured it's cheaper than bying batteries all the time.
The only problem I have with Guitar Hero III is that it's too hard, and not fun.
I can play GH 1 & 2 on hard and expert, but I'm stuck on One on hard and Jesus, look at Through The Fire and Flames on expert, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I beat this on easy the other day. I'm gonna start medium tomorrow. What's the longest note streak ya'll can get? Mine is 99. Pissed me off I didn't get to 100. Have any of ya'll downloaded any song packs? I hear GH2 has better songs.

Yeah, I got 1600 points for xmas just sitting in my live account. We should battle sometime.
i don't have a live account anymore. it expired cause i had a 1 month trial and i dont play the 360 enough to pay a live membership.
but i could certainly play on my bf's account sometimes. but lemme practice first!! lol
