Its called saints row ... the graphics look pretty heavy
HERES A LITTLE INFO ON THE GAME:
Saint's Row is a title where, much like in the Grand Theft Auto series, players are given free reign to move around a large cityscape, steal cars, complete missions, earn respect, and make money.
While you'll only be able to create a male character, you'll have access to a ton of variety for what kind of character you want to create in Saint's Row. For instance, when creating the nose you'll have ten different sliders which can determine nose yaw and roll and essentially create any type of nose you want. This kind of detail is available across all of the game's creation options.
In terms of what we actually did in the game, we basically drove around the city stealing shiny cars with fancy rims and blowing tons of stuff up. In Saint's Row there is no shortage of weapons, and we played around with an AK-47, rocket launcher, and SMGs. In total there are 8 different types of weapons, including thrown, pistols, and assault rifles, for which your character can carry one at any given time.
The section of city we were running around in had been expanded since last time, now encompassing some of the downtown business center area as well as the Saint's Row slums. We were shown that we could hold up shopkeepers if we wanted some extra cash. By walking into a business and pointing a weapon at the clerk, we could make him lead us to his safe. If we were to stop pointing our weapon at him while he's leading us to the money, he'll slowly start lowering his arms. If he lowers them all the way he'll activate an alarm or call the cops. Of course, either way he's going to get shot, but it's worth waiting for him to get you the money first, then splatter his face.
We also experience a game mode we hadn't seen before. In addition to the pimping and street race missions you can enter at any time to get respect and money there are now Insurance Fraud missions. These were pretty hilarious, tasking you with causing as much harm to yourself as you possibly can. We would up on a bridge connecting the business district and Saint's Row throwing ourselves in front of traffic to earn enough injury money to get to the next level. By pressing down on the left control stick you can "rag-doll" yourself and become a lifeless, flopping mess in front of cars. If there are any witnesses around while you deliberately cause injury to yourself, you'll get witness multipliers that increase the amount of money you earn per "accident."
Your cars can also be modded at mechanic's shops to include a large range of colors, grill styles, and rims as well as all sorts of oddball items like bull horns on your windshield. The game will also feature a dynamic day and night cycle where shadows get longer and city lights start popping on as you play. Also, once you cause enough damage to get five stars, your helicopters will start chasing you, fire at you with sniper rifles, and drop SWAT teams on the ground.
In terms of multiplayer you'll have be able to engage with up to 12 players in gang style team versus team combat. As players win matches online they'll be able buy newer, flashier clothing, indicating to other players how much harder they rock. You'll have to build your online character from scratch because your single player game will not transfer over.
The game still had the same stuttering framerate as before, which became even more noticeable when the game shifted to night mode and all the lights in the business district skyscrapers popped on. By the time the game is ready for release, the developers are shooting for a stable 30 frames per second. This title is still scheduled as a launch window title, so where exactly that falls still remains to be seen. Keep checking back for more updates.
