Wow, what a great analogy. Except Jews lived in the region for centuries about 3,000 years ago. They were then enslaved and dispersed by Egypt and Rome.

Israel cannot be militarily defeated without mutually assured destruction. A nuke would have to be detonated in Israel to destroy it, and Israel has nukes in submarines for retaliation if necessary.

If a bomb ever went off in Israel, it would kill the Palestinians too. Israel would then turn Iran and Syria into parking lots.

Militarily tactics have been revolutionised by terrorists over the past few decades, who knows what will come in the next few.

Israel may have the latest military technology but despite this it is still under threat, would terrorists not accept the possibility of countries like Syria and Lebanon or even Egypt being nuked if it meant the the destruction of Israel, if they can use suicide bombers to achieve a objective why not a suicide country?

The terrorist groups are fighting to establish a Muslim state of Palestine on that land.

If they nuke the land, they can't create a state on it. In that sense, I think the United States is in more danger of a nuclear attack by a terrorist group than Israel.
