Google+

We gotta invite Carmen too. I want to hear some simultaneous "show your tits" chants from all corners of the world.

That's the only thing that attracts me to Google Plus, but even then, Facebook chat is kinda working towards the same direction in that they've allowed messaging to be integrated with chat and the option to add new people.

Then there was that little news tidbit about a month ago about Skype and Facebook joining efforts to provide video chat.

It's not a real bother to open up G+ and have a hangout session with friends, but if/when I am able to do the same on Facebook, there really would be no reason to use G+ again.

I'm only rooting for Facebook to supplant the G+ feature because I've already established a friend base there. I don't feel like moving all my shit over.

^What shit exactly do you have to move over? lol

If you don't have a friend base on G+, that's up to your friends. Doesn't take effort on your end.

Re-adding people. I dunno. Not everyone out there has a Google Account, nor should they be required to have one to enjoy basic features. Keeping tabs of two things like Facebook and G+ will get tiresome. Solution? Close one of them down? Well, for me that would be G+. But as I mentioned, until Facebook employs something similar to the Hangout feature, I'll still keep G+ around. And I'll continue to alternate between the two social networks.

I had the G+ app on my Android phone, but I used it so rarely, it was deleted within two days. I don't expect that changing soon.

I use it for the Huddle feature the most. Especially now that iPhones can use it too. For me, there are many reasons why I'd completely abandon Facebook. At this point, it's only because I have like 35 people added so far on G+. But it's not like I'm the one adding them, because I'm in no rush to replicate Facebook on Google+. I could do without half the people I have on Facebook. I guess the only reason I keep them around is because it exposes me to things that they share that my friends probably wouldn't. That's where Circles on G+ comes in perfect. I can squeeze those fools into one.

The trend that I am seeing right now is that a lot of people on Facebook are signing up for G+ (if they can get an invite) to at least check it out. So, their "accounts" will be around. It'll just be a matter of engaging. Switching costs are pretty low.

/\ Exactly. Plus, it's easy to move all your info over. There's a few sites that will import all your FB photos into G+. I already consolidated all my photos from FB, Twitpic, etc, onto G+. Simply because Google removed an entire layer from the photo-sharing process. Before, I had to take a photo on my phone, click share, decide where to share it, wait for it to upload, type the description... etc.

Now with Instant Upload, I just take the photo and it's right there on G+.

I guarantee Facebook are looking at trying to rip off this functionality.
