I'm trying to get into all sorts of music. Suggest some good heavy metal albums. And what's Black Sabbath's and Ozzy Osbourne's best album?

Thanks.

Black Sabbaths best album is Sabotage.
Best Ozzy (solo) album is Blizzard of Ozz

As for other heavy metal artists
Listen to artists like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Dio, Slayer and Megadeth
that's all i can think of right now.

jesus, chronic.

i really, really like you so i hate to do this, but i am going to have to pwnish you. you shouldn't "get into" all types of music. you say you are "trying"? lol. it should come natural. enforcing yourself to listen to heavy metal for 3 hours won't make you like it any more.

tsk tsk, chronic.

but listening but by listening to a variety of heavy metal CD's, one or more artists may touch him only the way the music can. thus just speeding up the natural process

Rizzle is teh whore.

I never claimed I didn't like heavy metal and how would I be forcing myself when I'm actively seeking to hear it?
In order to appreciate music you need to listen to it so that's what I'm planning to do. I can't enjoy it 'naturally' if I don't listen to it.
I may find out that heavy metal is not for me but no loss there. And maybe in the process of doing so I might find some songs/albums that I do like.

Your pwnishment sucked :(

Thanks for the suggestions people.

I'd also recommend the album "Roots" by Sepultura, or any of Max Cavalera's latest work with his new band Soulfly...

if u want to appreciate music that your not feeling, try something like listening to a song in a movie or something, without actually "listening" to it, to create the vibe, cause your not really solely listening to the song but your getting into it without directly meaning to

damn, why dont my posts' make sense anymore

Yeah, "Roots" by Sepultura is good.
Black Sabbath- Paranoid
Pantera- Vulgar display of power (best)
Metallica- Master of Puppets
As for System of a Down- Toxicity is a classic
AC/DC Live- It mostly has all the hits
OTEP- Sevas Tra
Korn- Take a look in the mirror(nu metal)

Just a few of my favorites.
