I actually liked the first and third in the Infernal Affairs trilogy, the second one can be skipped but it was alright.

Carandiru - a movie about a prison in Brazil, its done by the same director who made City of God.

The Killer - Obviously

Hard Boiled - Same as above

A Better Tomorrow 1 and 2 - ^^

Watership Down - A British cartoon movie bout a bunch of rabbits that run away and start a new colony... Not kiddy stuff though.. Its actually really about communism and democracy..

To Live - Chinese movie about a rich chinese guy that gambles away his family fortunes, then lives thru the 1950's- 1990's in poverty.

La Strada - Italian movie in black in white. It was made in the 1950's but its awesome.. About a travelling circus strongman that buys a retarded girl from her mom, rapes her, makes her his servant, then he leaves her on the side of the road, she dies, and he gets sad. It won the best foreign film award of that year.

City Of God - Bout a kid in the ghettos of Rio De Janero growing up and becoming a famous photographer while dodging the evils and ills of the drug trade.. The documentary on the dvd is just as good as the movie..

These are my FAVORITE movies of all time!

But theyre all kinda depressing

City of God is great....

but one of my all time favorite moves is Hero, I love it. You gotta love that style of story but it's worth a truth, I think Pit you'd like it, if not love it. Get back at me when u saw it aiight, I'd love to hear what you think about it.

^^ Yeah bought that on DVD a few years back after watching it at work. It actually got me into foreign films. Before that I was too snobby.

And just so people know, English films aren't foreign to me. ;) :)
