Technology good cd burning programs

anyone know any good simple burning programs?

rite now i use this crappy one on real one player which takes ages to burn like an or so.

anyoen know and simple ones?ive tried nero and a few other ones but ive been having problems with the buffer and it always stops even if am not doing anything on the pc.

I've never had probelms with Nero. Make sure you set the correct speed for your cd/dvd-r-rw. Also make sure you have enough hard drive space to have the buffer work correctly. At least a 1gig of space. Lastly defrag your hard drive for optimal speed.

how do i find out the correct speed for my cd rw?

and i dont know much bout pc's whats 'defrag' my hard drive?

What I mean about correct speed is that most poeple overburn their cd's and it will just be a useless cd. What I usually do it have it one less cd-speed then recommended. Meaning if the cd can be burn at 40X I usually bring it down to 32X so it can be burned slower and with less errors.

To defrag your hard drive click on start and go to My Computer. Right click your hard drive and select properties. Click on the tools tab and click on the degrag now button. Also when you are done with it click on the check now button on the same page (tools tab).

when i go on defrag it stays on ''0%complete" for like an hour so i just cancelled

If it won't defrag won't, the first thing to try is to run defrag in "Safe" mode (Restart your computer and hold down the f8 button and select safe mode). Try that. It should work. Also check if you have no errors in your hard drive.
