I'm leaving friday evening for Burlington. It's going to be quite an expense to drink there all weekend but my friend chad and me need a change of scenery. It will be nice to hit up some bars where we don't know half the people in the fucking place.
We're gonna bring some beers over to the hotel and pregame for awhile before hitting the bar scene. Then on Saturday we're gonna go see that Benjamin Button movie and hit the bars again. We'll probably hit up that new Eastwood movie, Gran Torino before heading back to New York on sunday afternoon/evening. I think the whole trip is gonna cost about $350.00, which hurts, but it should be a fun time I think. It'll be good to get out of town for a weekend.
I was talking to a kid about it last night and he said the bars there close at 2am just like here, only they don't do after-hours like we do. He said he was there one night and when 2am came, he was asking about after-hours and this girl was like, "You must be from New York, aren't you? We don't do after-hours here. We stop drinking at 2am."
Oh well. We'll start early and make the most of it. I hear the beers downtown are more expensive though.
As long as I don't get knocked out by some chick shit should be cool.
