from what i've seen/heard, she only reacts to very few things, most portions of her brain are dead (cerebral cortex), and her reactions of things are from her damaged brain stem, which allows her to breath, sleep, her nervous system and reflexes (which people believe is her being non-vegetative). But those reflexes are instinctive. If i was a vegetable i would go in any way, why would i care? My brain is dead, i wouldn't feel pain, and staying like that for 14 years is hell itself.

nah she collapsed from an unknown ailment which they think was some sort of definciency in her body chemicals or some shit..she was not breathing for 5minutes, hence her brain was all but destroyed when doctors "brought her back" to life. a kid in my highschool was destoyed when a school bus slammed into a car his friend was driving and landed into him. Just because the kid's eyes moved around wildly as he lay dying doesnt mean he was ALIVE. fuckin sickos....who doesnt pull a plug on a human who is no longer alive, but is rather responding the way a newborn does in its most primitive form. Think back to when you were ejected from the womb....do you have memories? nah didnt think so. Its people being selfish because they cant let go.

Maybe she is now too far gone to recover but if she would have been treated when she should have been, she could have recovered. Go to her website and see for yourself. There is a timeline there showing when and what happened in the last 15 years since her collapse. Her husband was awarded a million and some odd dollar lawsuit of which the money was supposed to go to her rehabilitation. And how much of that money did he use to get her treatment? ZERO None, not one single dollar did he use to treat her. And if he is removed as her guardian, he loses that money because it was awarded to him to treat her, and to treat her only. But did he do that, NO, that money is probably being spent for him and his new wife and kids to live like kings and queens.
And to whoever said she doesn't respond to anything, yes she does. She responds to her parents every single time they come and visit her. I've seen the videos, she smiles and responds to them every time.

When my grandfather was in this position after his kidneys failed him and he had not awoken for days, the doctors still told my mother "well if he ever does come through again, theres no telling if there was brain damage". You live in a fucking bubble. Doctors always give the .00001 percent chance that the person can stun everyone and it would be a miracle. But after a decade, it aint happening in this womans case. Hung on everytime, what are you talking about...you have no idea what your even saying....they removed the food tube and she did exactly what they expected given the time frame. When the feeding tube is removed you have 7-14 days to live. this is what i hate about you people "the triumph of the spirit " bullshit...not its not idiot, its just the natural process of death.
