Okay, so I'm a little late with this one, but I just saw it last weekend.
Borrowed the DVD from a friend of mine who practicly forced me to watch it. Apparantly it was the extended edition with 17 minutes of extra footage.
Being an avid non-fan of Russell Crowe, I have to say that he didn't annoy me as much as I had expected.
I thought it was a pretty decent movie with an extraordinary soundtrack. Nothing more, nothing less. Beautiful sets, brilliant music, but the story was a bit poor in my opinion.
Why exactly does nearly everyone consider as a brilliant movie? It's even in IMDBs top 250 (although that doesn't count for much, I know).
Drop your thoughts.
