Film & TV Gladiator Appreciation Thread

I just saw Gladiator on tv last night and it just got to me of how GREAT of a movie this is. One man with his family slaughtered, nothing to live for.. seeks vengeance & dies killing a king for the better of Rome & for himself. I just love how they filmed this movie. How he effected the prisoners, how he captured the hearts of the people watchn. And sadly dying. I love the music in the end & how he's standing there after killing the guy.. and how he starts seeing the field of harvest and his wife & kid. Then he falls over and is carried away. Damn man, bomb ass movie.. touches ur heart. I went out & bought the dvd. :thumb:

For sure its a really great movie!! I just hate the fact that they had to squeeze snakes into the script. Got a phobia for those things I love that song at the end of the movie as well. Oh yeah and the quote: "We shall meet again my friend.........but not yet, not yet." Thats just some really deep stuff to me. Just a great movie, can't say enough about it.
