Technology Getting someone deleted back

Possible? I deleted a folder 3 weeks ago or something. Anyone know a way to get it back?

should be ok as long as u havnt defragged/saved a load of shit recently.......3 weeks is a long while tho. The chances decrease evrytime u use the drive tho

Like he said, the longer you wait before trying to recover the data the more likely you are to have written over the disk space with new data. Also, even if you can recover the files, they might end up being corrupt.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

theres this program i used to use(i forgot the name), it would get me files even after i have formatted my hard drive a few times. most of the times the files would still be good. ill try to remember the name.

not every undelete program is good. i went through so many that were crap until i finally found that one. dont lose hope. ill try to get it for you today

I got lucky. I lost my 140 GB of music (*cries*) but I had shifted around some folders before it fucked up so I got 1 of my most important folders back. I feel a little less dead inside now.
