Actually, i was talking bout the uk release. AND the EU is part of the UK( or shld i say UK is part of EU)
uk cd's usually denote the uk, whereas germany and the netherlands are classified as eu. the people who collect know what i'm talking about.

...and what in the fuck does this single have to do with a diary?

pittseys right about the song gettin a lot of airplay in the UK, ive heard it a lot on the radio[more than thugz mansion, runnin]. its also liked by a lot of ppl, a few friends of mine who dont like rap, the're into radiohead etc, asked me if 2pac had a new song with elton john and they said its amazing

y'all gotta chill and remember that this is a 2pac track and not a eminem and elton track. the way u are all sayin shit bout them it makes it like its their track and use all forgettin bout pac. now remember its pac and fuck em and elton jus think of it a jus pac. get him to number 1 no1 ain't gon say shit bout em an elton but pac will get the credit and a 1st number 1 in the UK

I gotta admit I don't like this single (probably cause I've heard the og), but I can understand why a lot people do like it.
I don't get pissed off no more at what they put out, cause it's theirs and they can do what they want with it. All pacs real fans know not to judge pac on his post death releases and we're the only ones that really matter right?
Anyway I'll be happy in the end if we get all of the og's in some way, then I don't care what they do!

I think this is a decent track. It's pretty catchy and I quite like it.

The lyrics from tupac are nice and poetic. They are deep, but not too deep for your casual listener. They have a sort of political stance, but again not enough to put your average listener off.

The beat is decent and is probably the second best beat by Eminem on the album. And probably the third best beat on the whole album. I'm not buying the "Scott Storch beat is cool, it's hot." Because I think it's poor.

This single is getting heavy radio play on all the big radio stations in UK. And I hear a lot of positive feedback from the casual listener. (Yes I used it again).

The video, Again the video is good. I'm not into all these big budget videos anyway. I think it has a nice message, maybe too deep for some, and that it is simple and effective. There haven't utilised unused footage, again, which is a shame. But there are a few images of him appearing in places. Also at the end the message from Afeni and the photo of pac is poignant.

This may not be what I wanted. But I'm fed up with the constant whinging from this board. We can hate on every single 2pac project all we want. Whether it's official, released by his friends, or his enemies or by someone off this board. But at the end of the day he died 8 years ago. I'm gald to hear or see anything new.
It's hard to keep a legacy up, especially for a 60 year old women. She gets bad advice, but the music business is cut throat.

I for one am happy that 2pac's name is still being spoke off. That any of his tracks get a positive response from anywhere, and that any new footage or video is created.
And obviosuly the end result is that there is a postive place in his name, The school. And if it means a lot to Afeni, you can guarantee it'd mean a lot to Tupac.
Remember Tupac was more than 2pac. But that's all you see. A character created to sell records, and get his message heard.

Well, there was my 2 pence. Now skip over it and ignore it like usual. And get back to the bitching. ;)

So what you are saying is that the ends justify the means when it comes to Pac's music?
Why not put Pac's Already edited verses in a Daniel Bedingfield song in order to get the message through?
I feel what you are saying Pittsey but i just don't agree in the way that it is done.
No hatred intended in this post :)

I'm not bothered about Elton being on it or the fact that eminem remixed, IT'S JUST THE FACT PAC SOUNDS LIKE A FREKKIN' MOUSE ON SPEED I DON'T LIKE.

All I'm saying is that people need to cut the negativity.

I see parts I don't like. But I don't dwell on them. And they've already been covered. After 8 years you tend to accept it isn't going to be the way it was.

Also it's still hip-hop, Bedingfield isn't. Sampling is hip-hop, and the elton hook is a sample. These beats while may not be 2pac-esque they are still modern hip-hop beats.

I don't like the album either. I liked 3 of the tracks. And this is one of them. It's decent enough to play, and on a summer day sounds pretty good. However I concede it isn't going to be a track I bump in my car or in the club. But it is getting played in the clubs I frequent which makes a change, because I usually have to persuade the DJ's to play Pac. And they only conceed because I am friends with them.

just like what i had stated... the eu maxi, the eu cardsleeve, and the eu pockit (the latter two both are 2 track-ers). the vinyl is a little different among countries, with the uk version having the acapella and edit, and no thugs get lonely. take it from someone who knows, because i own all of these already.
