Film & TV Geordie Shore

So, I kinda stumbled upon this after reading that they're thinking about having a spin-off of Jersey Shore, but situated in Liverpool. Geordie Shore, which was tagged as well apparently aired a month ago in the UK. I know that a Geordie is someone situated in Newcastle, but that's where my knowledge about Newcastle ends.

Anyways, so I'm watching the first episode cause I'm curious and all I see is wannabe is a Jersey Shore cast... (I would motorboat the one with big boosoms though, I believe the slag's name is Holly)... So, my question is - do people from that area actually act like this? lol

I shall return to the big tits now.

I love you too, Sofi.

PS: First ep was quite shit, even for me. Looks like a regurgitated formula that made Jersey Shore big.

Geordie Shore is set in Newcastle, a geordie is slang for someone from Newcastle. Cheryl Cole is a Geordie.

Someone from Liverpool is a Scouser. Sunderland is a Mackem. Birmingham is a Brummie. An East Londoner is a Cockney. There are more, but you get the pont.

Yeah, I know some of the regional names. I was just wondering if the way those guys are depicted on the show is actually a reflection of Newcastle youth culture, or if it was just an exaggeration for ratings.

Nah. Just like everyone from Essex isn't like the Essex programme. If you have seen that one.

It's Tv SHows taking the piss out of morons.
