it's not like they just e-mail each other proposals and then reply with "accept" or "decline" until one is accepted.. they're talking it out.. he also said before that statement that there's a good chance it will happen

I still think there's a fair chance it happens because the Red Sox want it to happen and David Ortiz is clearly fueling the Tejada fire.
