As previously reported, The Game was recently issued with an arrest warrant. Manager for The Game, Jimmy ‘Henchmen’ Rosemond, has recently released a statement in response to the matter.
The arrest warrant was issued after The Game failed to appear at a March 28th court date to face charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Rosemond believes the incident is the result of an honest error: "There was a change of address in which Game did not receive his court summons," the CEO of Czar Entertainment said. "It was a simple mistake and yes, a paper warrant was issued. However, his attorneys are working to clear this matter immediately."
The altercation, which can be seen on the Stop Snitchin Stop Lyin DVD, ensued after The Game refused to remove a Halloween mask and refrain from swearing. An officer pepper sprayed the rapper and several in his entourage, but after the authorities examined the footage, he was cleared of any wrong doing.
