Imagine a charity designated just for children in poverty that can give the youth the power and privilege of choosing what they will receive. No warehouse of donated items existing, but their unique choice of items to fit their personalties handed to them from the swipe of a debit card. No government funding, yet still successful because of the community support received.

Picture a charity that gives back to the communities who supported its cause and supports businesses who put their faith, acknowledgment, and compassion in them. Now allow me to introduce you to the nationwide FTP Youth Campaign, the revolutionary charity here to empower the impoverished children to "Rize and Shine". FTP stands for Faith, Trust, and Patience.

Founded in July of 2007, the FTP Youth Campaign has been adopted by Senior Pastor/International Bishop Brehon Hall's New Psalmist Church in East Toledo. The upcoming after-school program will be providing the "Campaign Souljahz" with fundamental teachings and various activities to encourage them to stay positively focused on their dreams and future.

The campaign was founded by Becca Gonzalez, a 28-year-old single mother of 3, who consciously recognized the poverty that exists nationwide and set out to start this movement in hopes of redirecting the futures of the children at risk of becoming victims of the system and create those "Changes" Tupac Shakur wished to see before his assassination in 1996.

The mission of this movement is to ensure our conscious future leaders a memorable, positive experience through knowledgeable teachings and self-expressive material fulfillment. 2Pac said "We all Souljahz in God's eyes", so each child in this military-themed campaign is called a "Souljah", because they combat struggle with strength.
