First off, I'm a rookie at producing. I just started not too long ago, so I dont know that much. Now, at first, I had FL 3 (demo version), which was very easy to use. You could just open it up and make beats. But yesterday, I just downloaded FL 6, and it is so complicated.
Anyways, when you very first open up a template (808 preferably), the basic samplers will appear such as RD_Crash, RD_Clap, etc. Now, when mine's appear, instead of gray, they show up orange and I can select them, but no sound comes out. Nor can I hear any of the sounds that has the yellow square with the black arrow next to it. But if I select a channel such as Sytrus, that'll work just fine. Why is that? Is it because I have the demo version?
