Film & TV Freddy Vs. Jason 2 Coming Soon! (Well sort of...)

For the past few years people at New Line have been trying their hardest to get the film off the ground with several ideas. The most popular to both film execs and fans was the idea of Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash! Me myself would have loved to see the sequel to Freddy Vs. Jason 2 include Ash from the Evil Dead series. But unfortunately it all went to shit before it officially got off the ground (thanks Sam Raimi ) But now it has been made official that the sequel will finally come out.....in COMIC FORM. Which will probably come out in November. So even though i would have loved to see the movie actually made, i guess somethin is better than nothing. The funny thing is that i actually enjoy Army Of Darkness alot more than the other 2. It just has alot more of Ash's little bad ass remarks. Sam turned down this movie to "supposedly" work on the Evil Dead remake. Which of course is never gonna get off the ground either (actually im not disappointed since he didn't want Bruce Campbell to reprise the role).

Sam didn't want Bruce to play Ash???? WTF!!! No Bruce Campbell = No Evil Dead, as far as I'm concerned. he IS ash.

yeah that's why i like Army of Darkness better too :thumb: it has more of the comedy element which I think is what makes Ash such a sick character.

Ash has so many awesome quotes, like

"Well helloooooooooooooooo Mr. Fancypants. I got news for you pal, you ain't leading but two things right now, Jack and Shit....and Jack just left town."

The names Ash. [Click-click!] Housewares.

It thought it was good. A little more comedic than scary. But then again im a little biased since i love all of Freddy Kruegers movies and it was just tight seeing him and Jason go at it.
