MC/vocalist Frankie Ounce is one third of the Dutch hiphop formation The Obnoxious. The other crewmembers are producer/MC Royal with Cheese and DJ Guila. Since The Obnoxious formed in Januari 2008 they released one EP and five well recieved albums, all available as free downloads on the largest Dutch online hiphop platform www.hiphopinyourface.com.
The Genin, as the title suggests, is heavily inspired by anime. It is the first album in a series of five releases strictly dealing with anime related subjects. On The Genin Frankie Ounce playfully remodels storylines from welknown series to fit the oriental flavored beats produced by Royal with Cheese.
