Took a class in college where we once discussed something similar to this. Homosexuals, a small amount anyway, want to contracts the AIDS virus because they are so ashamed or feel force-closeted by the lifestyle they lead and want to die.

I've never heard of something this extreme, though. But some people do have sick fantasies such as these. I don't think its a joke, but I also don't think they actually go out and do these acts. They fantasize about the stories at their computer.
