for those who use Reason 3

^ ya i know what you mean. I didnt end up getting Reason, i actually went out and bought FL Studio 6 instead. Its a lot cheaper and u know what, ive been using FL 5 for a while now, i know how to do shit. With Reason, id have to learn everything from scratch. I like the changes they made in FL 6. Its a bit better. Nothing crazy.

i got this new computer for xmas man, i didnt wanna get any bullshit downloaded just by looking for a decent crack, plus it was only 150, so whatever...i feel better having the legit copy, still.

/\ my cousin has a 3000, we use it for all our drum programming. its tight as hell, other MPC's don't even compare. He's had it for about 12 years. Shame you can't buy them anymore, if people want them these days they end shelling out a shitload of money on eBay.

The MPC60 compares, it's also a Roger Linn model.

haha nah i wasnt gonna ask for it my friend got it and we're working together so i just put it on my computer...quick question tho...we kinda just started doing this and we got reason and my other friend got like a 100$ keyboard as a gift, i got money to buy like a cheap to kinda high priced beat-pad should i do that now or does it not help that much? appreciate any feedback..thanx

beat pad? you mean like the akai mpd or trigger finger by m-audio?
it just feels different to the keyboard. try and see if your local guitar store has one and feel it and play around with it. just bang the pads.
